Coco Buono Bar & Bistro is the restaurant of the Bann Pantai Resort in Cha-am. The restaurant is located on the boulevard of Cha-am, with the beach on the other side of the road. In the evening you can enjoy your meal on the terrace with the sound of the waves in the background.
The restaurant looks modern. There is a terrace with modern furniture made of light wood and a wooden floor. The building itself is painted white on the outside. Everything inside is also white or almost white.
There are about 20 tables outside, which can seat 60 to 80 people. And there are about as many places inside.
We notice that it is very, very quiet this year. Both times we ate there, once there was no other table occupied and once only one. That's too bad.
The menu is in Thai and English, and we understand it too. Some of the staff members speak basic English, just enough to function properly.

The menu includes both Thai and Western dishes, but it appears that all Western dishes have been or will be removed from the menu. It seems quite varied, about 20 dishes in total.
We ate both Thai and Western dishes, which was something we were hungry for. It tasted good, the food is better in a top restaurant in the Netherlands, but we are satisfied.
The range of drinks is also sufficient. There are a few types of beer, wine (by the glass and by the bottle), soft drinks, and good coffee afterwards with or without a drink.

The times we ate there this holiday, on Monday, November 20, s023 and on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 the price was around THB 700, not cheap but considering the location and ambiance reasonable.
